We are all patiently awaiting Carrie Underwood’s new album that she’s been working tirelessly on lately.
But, we’re told to expect something different from what we’re used to from country music’s princess. This will be her first studio album since 2012’s award winning, Blown Away. Underwood says, “There’s definitely a different sound that’s coming together.” She reveals that she’s been working with a different producer, Mark Bright, who has helped add the “rock twang” flair to this album. “There should be some things that [fans] hopefully have like about the music we’ve done, but also a little growth, a little bit of shift, so things they’ve liked but new things to see, hear and feel,” Carrie said in an interview with Country Countdown USA. Carrie also recently gave birth to baby Isaac, so that has influenced some of the creative writing process.
