Martina McBride Celebrates Charity

Today, CBS This Morning celebrated the success of Martina McBride’s fan-formed charity group, Team Martina.

Team Martina has raised over $300,000 for non-profits across the world, including the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, the Chastain Park Conservancy and Covenant House.

McBride and Team Martina work to provide music programs in the Covenant House’s orphanage in Guatemala City for young girls. Over the last year, more than $40,000 has been raised, supplying the program with essentials, instruments, and instructors.

Way to go, Martina! Congrats on the success of your charity and new studio releases, product of the joint venture of Big Machine and Cumulus called Nash Icon Records.
